Great place!! We came into town to ride the bike trail. The place was fabulous a nice mix of new with keeping some of the original charm you can tell a lot of work and thought went into the place. We enjoyed the restaurants and coffee shops, great little community and we would come back and stay in a heartbeat.

What another incredible stay! This was the second time staying for an extended period of time and the host was amazing! Excellent communication throughout, flexible, and very easy to work with! If you are staying in the Canal Fulton area, this is the place to be! Highly recommended!

Great location. I came to run an ultra race and the start line was less than a quarter mile away. Plenty to do close by including some great restaurants and a new coffee shop. Bed was wonderfully firm (memory foam) and place was very clean.

My stay here was wonderful. I really enjoyed how peaceful it was being there. Everything was clean and orderly, and there is the towpath right behind it on the other bank. Also, there are some nice cafes and restaurants nearby.

The Historic retreat was beautiful and peaceful, sitting right on the frozen canal and enjoying our trip away from home was amazing we would recommend our friends to stay here and may even consider coming back for the summer!

I came in town for a wedding and this was the highlight of my trip if I’m honest - Sarah was so kind, messaged back promptly and was overall a great host. Unfortunately we were hit with a snow storm the same night, but already plan to return to stay again when the weather warms up!

Communication was open, clear, friendly, and professional. The space, is bright, clean, and the decor is stunning. Cute and cozy location, lots to do in the historic downtown area. Fabulous place.

What a hidden gem this place is! The apartment is very well-appointed and the decor is gorgeous. The beds and pillows were nicer than most hotels, and the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. We are both runners and loved the convenience of the C&O canal literally a few steps from the front door. Sarah, the host, was extremely helpful and responsive. We will most definitely be back and look forward to staying here again.
